The
Registrar of the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for
Rwanda Mr. Majola Bongani this week paid a courtesy call on the
President of the United Republic of Tanzania H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete
at Mount Meru Hotel when the latter was in town to grace several
meetings.
During
the meeting Mr. Majola, among others, thanked the Tanzania Government
for its unwavering support to the work of the ICTR particularly at this
time when it was coming to the close after 20 years of operation. The
two also discussed several issues of mutual concern in relation to the
Tribunal's Completion Strategy.
In
