Chelsea 0 Swansea 2:
Red action: Swansea have
the lead at half-time in their Capital One Cup clash with
Chelsea
Star man: Michu proved
to be the difference, as so often he has been since he joined the
Swans
Michu scored the first,
lethal as ever, after Ivanovic was dispossessed by Jonathan de
Guzman,
Rough and ready: Swansea
matched Chelsea every step of the way at Stamford Bridge
On the pitch, Chelsea
seemed in more harmony. Ivanovic flashed a header over from a swerving cross,
delivered by Torres from the left.
Top of the flops:
Fernando Torres was poor, with sections of the Stamford Bridge crowd even booing
him
Swansea were neat and
tidy as ever but created virtually nothing. Twenty minutes had passed before
their first attempt, a rather hopeful 25-yarder from Michu comfortably fielded
by Ross Turnbull.
That settles it: Danny
Graham pounced on another error to beat Ross Turnbull and score the
second
Buck and his cohorts in
the executive seats must have gazed down and wondered how this £2million snip
eluded their extravagant scouting network.
Someone's not happy: A
fan was removed from the pitch after jumping the advertising
hoardings
And he's happy either:
Demba Ba was booked for diving when he felt sure he'd won a penalty
